Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Regal Ornate, we want you to love every piece you receive. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, returns and refunds work. Please read it carefully before placing your order.

1. Order Cancellations

1.1 Cancellation by You

• You may cancel individual items or your entire order before it is shipped.
• To cancel, sign in to your account, go to My Orders, and select the item(s) you wish to cancel.
• You will be asked to provide a cancellation reason. This helps us improve our service.
• Once cancelled, the refund (if any) will be processed as described in Section 3.

1.2 Cancellation by Us

• We may cancel an order if the product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if the order appears fraudulent.
• In such cases, you will receive a full refund and an email or WhatsApp notification.

2. Returns and Replacements

2.1 Eligibility

• Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for damaged, defective or wrongly shipped items.
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
• Due to the handcrafted and decorative nature of our products, returns for change-of-mind are not accepted.

2.2 How to Initiate a Return

• Email us at hello@theregalornate.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue.
• We will review your request and, if approved, arrange a reverse pickup or request you to ship the item back.
• Replacement will be dispatched after the original item is received and inspected at our warehouse.

3. Refunds

3.1 Refund Processing

• For prepaid orders, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.
• The exact time for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
• For COD or WhatsApp-confirmed orders, refunds (where applicable) are issued as store credit or via UPI bank transfer.

3.2 Partial Refunds

• If only part of your order is cancelled or returned, the refund will be issued for the affected item(s) only.
• Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the entire order is being refunded.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund at our discretion.

5. Non-Refundable Items

• Items returned without prior authorisation.
• Items that are used, altered, or not in their original packaging.
• Custom or personalised orders, unless defective.
• Gift cards or discount vouchers.

6. Shipping for Returns

• For approved returns of damaged or defective items, we will bear the return shipping cost.
• For other approved returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless we determine otherwise.

7. Order Status Updates

You can track the status of your order at any time from your account dashboard. Status updates include Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, Delivered and Cancelled. If you cancel an item, the order total and totals will be updated accordingly.
